I received this book as a gift. It is a part II publication from Zondervan (the first being Following Christ). Stowell, president of Moody Bible Institute, gives applications from gospel accounts in the life of Christ. This kind of writing is different from traditional treatments on the life of Christ from men like G.C. Morgan or Dwight Pentecost. If the reader is used to exploring the interpretation of passages whether historically, grammatically or even dispensationally, he will not find much satisfaction here. But if one is looking for a devotional reading that makes direct application only to modern issues, this might be the book. RCS
