Rick Shrader‘s Review:

John Piper wrote this 120 page book in 2006. It is a simple but forward look at what Jesus Christ has done for believers. Each chapter has only 2 pages so it can be read quickly. The best chapters are toward the end having to do with death and afterlife. I always look for Piper’s Calvinism, which, though seldom expressed, always contradicts his universal invitations. For example, “No one is excluded from this salvation who embraces the treasure of the ransoming Christ” (p. 35). Then, “They teach that all over the world there are people whom God has chosen to be reached and saved by Jesus Christ” (p. 111).
