Rick Shrader‘s Review:

I am going to review another book by Lewis because it also has a few chapters that are worth the price of the book.  His chapter on culture is interesting because I find that other generations had to answer the same questions as ours.  His chapters on ethics and reality speak volumes to our new age society!   I especially enjoyed his chapter on church music.  As a matter of fact, it is the most thoughtful essay from someone outside our present confusion I have found.  One of my favorite lines is, “Neither the greatest excellence of a trained performance from the choir, nor the heartiest and most enthusiastic bellowing from the pews, must be taken to signify that any specifically religious activity is going on.”  I think I have been there!
