Rick Shrader‘s Review:
Andreas and Margaret Kostenberger team up to write this 2018 book on parenting. This is a practical guide for parents new and old who are looking for real-life help and ideas in raising godly children. There are many personal stories from the authors but rightly so since this is a practical book. They take the parents from newly-weds to grandparents (the latter only mentioned) with sound biblical advice. I would only have two areas of mild disagreement. One is with Margaret’s view of being in the world and still being a little of the world. The second is Andreas’ view of social justice in which he leans heavily toward social involvement. However, he doesn’t lose sight of evangelism as the goal. In all I enjoyed the book and learned a lot even as a grandparent.
