I enjoy reading William Craig because he is one of those deep thinkers who always challenges the reader to stretch his thinking process. The sub-title is Christian Truth and Apologetics and was first published in 1984 but has been reprinted in 1994 by Crossway Books. Among his defense of Theism against an atheistic culture, is a fascinating explanation of how Quantum Physics relates to the beginning of the universe and how modern science has tried to use this new area to prove a creation out of nothing without God. Not being a scientist nor one’s son, I have wondered why my generation has this fascination with the word “quantum.” Its supposed proposition gives today’s atheist a way out of a “first cause.” Until they read this book.
