Rick Shrader‘s Review:

This large book (over 700 pages) is called “an anthology” because it contains 42 articles by various authors from Modern through Postmodern times.  If you would like to read actual postmodern writers (and not just those who write about them) but don’t have time to wade through their individual books, this is a great place to start.  Cahoone gives a brief biography of each writer and places their writings in a chronological fashion.  There are only a few articles that are so crude you can’t finish.  The rest are just weird.
