Rick Shrader‘s Review:

This is one of those books that becomes popular because people like dieting, not because they like to be biblical.  Pastors need to read this book before they invite the program into the church!  Actually, the diet is fine, if she would just leave the Bible out of it.  Shamblin denies the Trinity, and while being interviewed by Christianity Today (Oct 23) she said, “People don’t care about this, they don’t care about the Trinity.”  This reflects her Church of Christ background and early teachings of modalism, rejected by the church as heretical years ago—but not by today’s generic Christians!
