Rick Shrader‘s Review:

Sometimes all that sniffing through dusty used book stores pays off. For my $5 I received a rare blessing from this old Bible scholar and saint of God. The book was published by The Gospel Hour (Oliver B. Green) in 1915. Scofield, known mostly as the editor of The Scofield Reference Bible, deals skillfully with the subject of the inner life of the believer. Among the glut of today’s books on this subject, it was refreshing to follow this able expositor through many interpretations and applications regarding our walk with Christ. “It costs something to have the joy of the Lord,” he writes, “Salvation, with its joy, is a free gift, but the joy of the Lord is to be had only by entering into fellowship with the Lord in His life plan.”
