Rick Shrader‘s Review:

My wife and I ordered this book because of the title and some positive reviews about the book. I expected a more biblical approach to the validity of singleness and how God may be leading in an individual’s life. Davis touches on these but that is not the proposition of the book. Rather, this is a book about the loneliness and suffering of a single man wanting and waiting for a wife. It comes across as if this were Job, only Job is suffering for being single. This may be helpful to someone who is emotionally wrought over singleness, but it is not a study in what the Bible says about either the gift of singleness or the good Christian finding himself/herself in the single life.
