Rick Shrader‘s Review:

IVP has done a 30th anniversary edition of this classic apologetic. I reread the book to search for things I had forgotten and found it to be as fresh as if Schaeffer had written it this year. What he continually calls “the new theology” (in 1968) is exactly what we are seeing as accepted theology in not only liberal, but evangelical churches today. Many fundamentalists are even playing with the same concepts and terminology. It is interesting how old liberalism often becomes new orthodoxy!
