Rick Shrader‘s Review:

This is a 1990 “Spectrum Multiview” book by IVP Academic. H. Wayne House is the editor and there are four views of divorce and remarriage presented, each with a rebuttal by the other three writers. The four views are: 1) No divorce, no remarriage, written by J. Carl Laney. 2) Divorce, but no remarriage, written by William A. Heth. 3) Divorce and remarriage for adultery or desertion, written by Thomas R. Edgar. 4) Divorce and remarriage under a variety of circumstances. The first three views are the normal views usually discussed by writers (see John and Paul Feinberg, Andreas Kostenberger). The fourth view turns out to be more a secular view than a normal Christian view. I think Edgar presents the best and biblical view.
